REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience not required – training and certification will be provided in-house/off-site.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on your feet for longer periods of time.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
- Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.
- Successful completion of Swim Instructor training is required during initial on-boarding training (training provided on-site).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the facility and communicate the rules of the facility.
- Ensure that medical services are contacted by appropriate means when necessary to respond to an emergency.
- Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
- Present professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintain a high standard of customer service.
- Provide swim instructions based on the Blue Gems Swim School curriculum.
- Complete accident/incident reports as necessary.
- Perform various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility.
- Assist with closing and securing the facility.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
